This original oil painting is of the public square in Sorrento, Italy. What a fun and social atmosphere! I set up my easel and painted a small study of this scene, which I used to get accurate colors for this larger piece. People were really interested in what I was doing and I found that people all over the world can talk art, even with a language barrier.
